Tucked away is a side street near Waterloo station is this lovely little pub. We went there for team lunch and absolutely loved it. It is beautiful, with a traditional decor and massive windows that allow you to look outside and enjoy the sun but also avoid the cold in the winter. When it's warmer outside you can also sit outside and have a great time in the sun. The food was amazing, everyone loved their meal and you can pick the set £10 menu and enjoy two courses for a price less than what you'd get one normal main for. I would definitely recommend having your lunch there if you're in the area and it may even become your new local!
I went to the White Hart once. It is quite close to Waterloo tube station.
The venue is a typical pub serving a wide range of beers and spirits as well as British cuisine. When I was there, I ordered the fish finger sandwich which I loved. Plus all the drinks we had as we were four we paid less than £70.
The pub is in typical British style but a downside is that it does not have outside seating. Other than that, it is quite suitable for strong British cuisine's fans!
A lovely pub located near Waterloo Station. Great atmosphere with traditional decor. I visited on a rainy Wednesday evening with family. It was packed, and we haven't booked a table, but lucky we managed to get one as some people were leaving. So definitely recommend booking in advance. We ordered beer at the bar, which was excellent - draught Guinness, Peroni and another nice ale. There is a good selection of beers! Service was friendly and fast. The food was just excellent! We had fish and chips and a cheese burger. Everything was delicious! Definitely recommend the place.
